Bio: Shaun McAdams is a principal consulting at Moser Consulting specializing in big data strategies. Before joining Moser Consulting, Shaun spent over 15 years in the federal health care space focusing on data transformation, management, processing and delivery. The last five years he served as the solution engineer senior advisor for the Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Fraud Prevention System (FPS). There he led the implementation of Hadoop into FPS and the integration of FPS into Medicare’s claim flow. This integration gave CMS the ability to leverage FPS to analyze claims across its wide multi-part program before executing payment. In 2016, CMS stated that the FPS had saved the Medicare Trust Fund over 1 billion dollars.
Shaun brings that production dev/ops experience to Moser Consulting which was named in the top 20 most promising US Big Data Companies by CIO Magazine.
