Bio: Rich is responsible for driving the business requirements, product roadmap and business strategies for all the products within Microstrategy.

Rich joined Microstrategy after 10+ years running Product Management for the Performance Management Business Unit within Business Analytics at IBM. Rich joined IBM through the acquisition of Cognos where he was the VP of Product Management for Office of Finance and Planning Solutions. Prior to Cognos, Rich was the VP of Product Strategy for Financial Management and Supplier Relationship Management product lines at Oracle and PeopleSoft where he worked for 8+ years. Before Oracle, Rich worked at a Big 5 consulting organization where he managed the implementation of business process automation systems for organizations in the professional service, communications, high tech, and manufacturing industries.

Rich has held various roles within products and technology and professional services organizations, including service delivery, sales, and operational management of the Global Consulting practice. Rich has more than twenty years of experience implementing and setting strategic direction for Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, Financial, and Performance Management solutions.
